Loving the Pigeon Around the Eye

Raising the flight
Pens romantic looks, tribal style or twenties

In the late nineteenth century, the ladies of high society does not go to any event of significance without hats, sleeves or fans who exhibited the most exquisite of marabou feathers, ostrich, pheasant, or rooster. The ethereal element that characterizes exotic birds brought to the designs and gave a new romance. Since then, fashion designers have used the pen to splash their designs volatile and exquisite touch, which gives the garments a truly spectacular lightness.

Giambattista Valli
Olivier Theyskens emerged this season as a master in the use of this material, using it for Nina Ricci in a masterful headgear, knitted cardigans and velvet siren dresses with asymmetrical RUFFLES. Karl Lagerfeld also joined the trend, attracting a Fendi handbag in which colored feathers slip between pieces of wool. No less impressive is the lost coat sleeves covered with pheasant feathers designing Giambattista Valli. Marni, however, prefer to use the pen hanging in short dresses that stand out and bring a touch of ethnic his proposal.

Whether based on a romantic look, tribal style or twenties, I encourage you to enter the new year by taking the identity of the birds, this time with the benchmarks in fashion as Diesel, Donna Karan, and Malandrino Louis Vuitton.

Hunting

A very feminine woman who uses the birds of paradise to dress in the fall.

This winter we are going hunting. Luxury dress with rooster feathers, pheasant, ostrich and marabou volumes and add new textures to the catwalk creations. The fauna is combined with the most talented designers to give wings to your imagination.

Alexander McQueen set your total look with a Victorian-style clothing, shoes and headdress made entirely based pheasant feathers. One idea for the new master woman uses female birds of paradise to dress in the fall.

Dolce & Gabbana used for boleros on dresses Josefina, like Ungaro, using an ostrich feather layer of gold covering on his piece of gauze in nude tones. We have seen in Givenchy creating false twisted straps on a black dress as a sack. The experts recommend this winter resort to natural fabrics to set your wardrobe. Takes the coat of hair, the warmth of the point, the volume of wool and, of course, do not forget your pen!

I am DOWN with all these feathers (ha ha, pardon the pun!)... That puffy purse [was it Prada?] is exquisite. I adore your roundup of plumed looks, FM!

Feathers are such a hard trend to pull off, but the Marchesa would be perfect for a party. Also, I love VB, but she looks like a bit of an idiot in that Marc Jacobs campaign photo, still, she's got guts for doing it!

I definitely love the Donna Karan's hat. In fact I love feathers on hats but they're not so easy to wear. I think Vicente Rey's feathers boots and shoes I posted on my blog are trendy actually.
