Mystery Girl

Go ahead. Ask your nana if you can rummage around in her closet. Your apt to find a few veiled hats that granny no doubt used to sport at weddings and funerals alike. But today, ladies about town are donning these see-through scrims as a stylish party piece. Worn with a decorative hair clip or attached to a little black top-hat, these veils offer a touch of modern mystery blended with some old-world elegance. Best of all, if grandma didn't save hers, there are a few places we've found that provide some gorgeous options brand-new. As far as fashion risks go, we think this one is well worth taking a chance on.

Oooooh I didn't know they were called scrims - I absolutely adore them; so mysterious and sexy. These photos make me want one even more . . . maybe I will rummage through mom's closet and try to find one!

I love veiled hats and got one that I should wear more often. Hopefully I got three weddings this year!
